Interestingly enough, the author mentions a theory that such creatures used to exist but became extinct. Sadly, there is not much evidence to support that.crediblereading2 wrote: ↑12 Jul 2018, 18:29 Many persons believe that mermaids stories are just fantasies, but there are others who claim that they are real as they have actually seen these water creatures. Thank you for your very insightful review as usual.

Thanks for your comment! This book does indeed cover many myths.[Arun Bohra] wrote: ↑12 Jul 2018, 22:38 I liked the story very much. I like reading stories full of myth, like this one.

Thanks for your comment and sorry you didn't get the book! It certainly didn't disappoint.SamSim wrote: ↑13 Jul 2018, 06:54 I'm so jealous! I was eager to review this book, but it was unavailable when I got the chance. It appears from your review that the book is as wonderful as I hoped. I had no idea there were so many and such a variety of mermaid statues. This is highly interesting, and I really love your review, especially that bit about "tales and tails."

Yes, it's very interesting. The book is very glossy and of good quality. That was a good delivery experience! Thanks for posting.Helen_Combe wrote: ↑13 Jul 2018, 15:17 It’s funny how some myths are universal. The flood is another one. Nearly every civilisation has a story of a great flood. I’m so glad the book delivered because the cover looked absolutely beautiful.
