This sounds like an awesome and unique book. I'm so glad to see it is worthy of 4-stars. I am really curious about the scattering of mermaid art now :)

Many persons believe that mermaids stories are just fantasies, but there are others who claim that they are real as they have actually seen these water creatures. Thank you for your very insightful review as usual.

I liked the story very much. I like reading stories full of myth, like this one.

This sounds like such a beautiful coffee table book and an informative one at that. I am definitely interested in mermaid lore, and it seems like a great source to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks for the lovely review!

I'm so jealous! I was eager to review this book, but it was unavailable when I got the chance. It appears from your review that the book is as wonderful as I hoped. I had no idea there were so many and such a variety of mermaid statues. This is highly interesting, and I really love your review, especially that bit about "tales and tails." :lol2:

I love how in-depth the book seems to go into the lore of mermaids around the world. I'd love to get my hands on the book and read through the different myths, but knowing me, I'd probably end up just looking at the pictures! Great review!

Interestingly enough, the author mentions a theory that such creatures used to exist but became extinct. Sadly, there is not much evidence to support that.

It’s funny how some myths are universal. The flood is another one. Nearly every civilisation has a story of a great flood. I’m so glad the book delivered because the cover looked absolutely beautiful.

Yes, it's very interesting. The book is very glossy and of good quality. That was a good delivery experience! Thanks for posting.
