I love how in-depth the book seems to go into the lore of mermaids around the world. I'd love to get my hands on the book and read through the different myths, but knowing me, I'd probably end up just looking at the pictures! Great review!

Interestingly enough, the author mentions a theory that such creatures used to exist but became extinct. Sadly, there is not much evidence to support that.
