[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Ancient Mystery of Blood Money and It's Antidote" by Francis Myles.]
The Ancient Mystery of Blood Money and Its Antidote by Dr. Francis Myles introduces that money is not a neutral everyday object but a spiritual substance that's sensitive and has memory. It introduces 'blood money' as money gotten through unjust means, corruption, violence, and so on. The book goes on to build on those two assertions. It uses the Bible as its major source of inspiration, highlighting origins and examples. It characterises the atmosphere of earthly wealth and situations that have developed from it and also contrasts it to God's system. It also offers antidotes to break free and cleanse your wealth as Christians.
This is a very nice book. What I had in mind was almost totally different from what I saw when I read this book. I thought blood money was only the one made from rituals. So, I was wondering what the length of the book is about. I appreciate the author's arranged build-up of the concept of the book. I also appreciate the logicality of the book's concept as it's meticulously built from the Bible, because that's what gives it its credibility. The style of writing is straightforward, which made reading easy for me. I particularly appreciate how the author related this to everyday life, pointing out the application. Each chapter has a live application section which contains a memory verse, reflective questions, prayers, and practical business application, which makes the book very useful and applicable.
There's nothing I dislike about this book. However, I noticed many errors in this book, which shows that it'll benefit from professional editing. This book serves to inform Christians of the sensitivity of money and the concept and dangers of blood money. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars for the reasons I mentioned above. I recommend it to Christians who'll love to read about blood money.
