Review of The Gospels

[Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "The Gospels" by Mark Biltz.]
The Gospels by Mark Biltz is a Hebrew-English audio phonetic version of the Gospels, starting with John. The author includes QR codes throughout the text that link to informative and explanatory video discussions. The author also includes discussions on major themes and explanations of some of the events found in each chapter.
My favorite part of this book was being able to see the Hebrew letters, the phonetic Hebrew sentence, and the English translation line by line. The author's version of the Gospels is more appropriate for biblical study and less appropriate for casual reading. The video discussions highlight the author's passion for providing resources to readers. I cannot imagine the time and effort that went into creating this book.
There is also some incredibly detailed and beautiful art depictions of important scenes throughout the book, such as Jesus walking on water or Jesus riding the donkey into Jerusalem. At the end of the book, the author includes resources that show each Hebrew letter, its pronunciation, and its numeric value, along with key information regarding reading phonetic Hebrew text. This guide is a great resource for readers interested in learning Hebrew for biblical study.
There was nothing about this book that I disliked. I found this version of the Gospels to be an incredibly informative way to study the text, and all of the resources attached via QR code helped me understand the information provided. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I found absolutely no editing errors in the book. It was exceptionally well-written and edited.
I recommend this book to Christian readers seeking a deeper understanding of the Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). This book will be more helpful for readers who are interested in the Hebrew translation of the books. I would not recommend this book to the casual reader, as it goes quite in-depth with the QR code resources and background information.
