Bad karma: The true story of a Mexico trip from Hell is a book detailing how a surf trip in Mexico suddenly went wrong, and it was written by Paul Wilson around the year 1978. The book is very humourous and fascinating and it has that comedic tone. This book is for readers who have an interest in survival stories and true stories, since it dwells much on the life experiences that the writer has had through out the time of his surf trip in Mexico. The book explores different themes such as personal responsibility, the consequences of your actions, the results of the action you make and where your fate lies because of the the life choices you make, how things are destined to be from the cause of your actions. The writer's storytelling is extremely excellent as he engages with the readers giving them a real life feeling as if they were the one's experiencing it, with photos offered the give you an idea of how life was like during those times and how things actually looked. The readers can relate to this book because the writer faces obstacles that were caused by his actions that gave him troubles in future but in the end the writer took accountability for their actions and owned up to them, making it easy for them to get through it. Most readers who have read the book can relate to it because we as individuals most of the problems we face are caused by us, and we always seek ways to find solutions for those problems and the first thing to do is to own up to our mistakes. Overall the book is an amazing and very thrilling read that is worth giving your time and energy. I definitely recommend this book.
