However, it does sound like it covers some good ground for those that enjoy that type of thing. Thanks for the review. I'm glad that you were able to find some positives in it.

Ooh! A meditation for tidying up the house! I like the sound of that. Thanks for your review, I enjoyed it.

I've never been into meditation or a lot of spiritual reads but lately, I've started enjoying it to change up the pace. But like you mentioned, the super 'mystical philosopher' writing can come off confusing and a bit pretentious. You wrote a really great review.

Good review but I will have to pass on this one. I have read so many books on meditation that I am officially bored with the subject. The book claims it is about enlightenment so I was disappointed that it was just another book on meditation.

Okay, I'll be needing that meditation to tidy up the house. Onto my reading list this goes!

I'd love to meditate more but it still seems like too much effort. This book might be just what I need.

A spiritual book that helps the readers to change their lives by meditation sounds inspiring. The purpose of the book is to help readers experiencing spiritual awakening and tune to Isness. That the book was well edited is to its credit. I am not fond of philosophical-themed books, but I am glad you found the book to your taste. Thank you for the review!

Spiritual books are not my cup of tea but I've read the review and I do agree that the best way to change our lives for the better is to understand ourselves and gain some inner calmness then practically everything will be OK. I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Thank you for your detailed review of this book. I've never meditated and I've never read a book on meditation, so this is a subject that I am not familiar with at all. I probably won't pick this book up just because it isn't really a subject that I am interested in, though I do agree with the overall message behind it. Keep up the great reviews. :D

This looks like a helpful guide to assist novices on their way to use meditation as a tool for inner peace. I did read the sample, and I do agree that he does speak a little outside of being straightforward. It seemed like he was trying to put down nice sounding words to make himself seem more of an authority on the subject, but in reality, the book is just as useful without the philosophical tone. Thank you for your insightful review. I just might have to read this one now!
