Review of WOW! Scammed Or Not Scammed
Have you ever been scammed? My belief is that this is a subject that everyone thinks about or actually experiences sometime in their lifetime. I was not sure what to expect when I chose this book. I would like to stay informed about this problem. Likewise, I honestly never thought about getting scammed on a romantic level. Furthermore, I have heard of individuals that met online, and things went well. In the book WOW! Scammed Or Not Scammed! , written by Beverly Koribanic, reveals that romantic encounters online can become disastrous. The author of this book goes into detail on how this is possible.
Beverly bares her heart to her experiences and also her emotional feelings at the time. The concern is that when an individual can pull at our heartstrings, anything may be possible. The concern is that scammers are fast talkers and write personal messages in their emails that capture the individual. It is important to remember that scammers are good at what they do, and they do not care about you. The author did diligent research, and still the situations that seemed unreal did appear to be real. I appreciated how Beverly went into detail on each experience. This can be a learning experience if the reader allows it to be.
Beverly cites websites in the book to go to if you believe you have been scammed. It is essential to note that these organizations may be able to shut the scammer down, but typically they move on somewhere else before being caught. Once you let go of any funds for any reason, they are gone. I really liked how the author states that if you cannot meet a person face-to-face, then do not give any type of assistance. If someone wants to be your friend on Facebook or any other site, be cautious.
This book is an easy read, and there is not a negative complaint from me. I am excited to rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. In addition, I did notice a few errors in the book, but nothing was too annoying. This reader recommends this book to any adult. What you learn in this book would be good to share with others and your children.
