This was a beautifully written review and definitely makes me want to read this book. I have never understood how someone could become addicted to alcohol, but it sounds like this book is personalized to the point that you could step into the author's shoes and take a first-hand look. Thank you for sharing.

It was a concise review but it left me wondering: was the critical and huge significance of of spiritual enlightenment discussed here exhaustively? Because in my opinion, which is based on my experience with drug addicts, nothing will make an addict completely, 100% free from illegal substances if he is not touched by God's hands. No amount of rehabilitation, counselling, begging, and understanding will make an addict shun illegal drugs. I am not very religious but only God will heal, if a person seeks His guidance.

Many topics are addressed, and spiritually is among them. While there are different techniques that work for different individuals, I'm certainly happy to hear the role God had in the recovery of those suffering with addiction. Thank you for stopping by to share your insights :)
