True. Affluence isn't equal to happiness, contentment is. I'm in love with this book already. Thanks for the comprehensive review.

The intellectually stimulating power of books cannot be overemphasized.
I’m glad you enjoyed my review.

True isn’t it? With all the clothes in my closet I find myself thinking “I have nothing to wear!”
When I compare my closet to the one Lucinda had as a child, I feel like a superstar! :)

Although many young readers could certainly learn a lesson in gratefulness from this type of book, I can see senior readers being this book's true audience as they happily reminisce with the author.
It will definitely appeal to the older folks as well. I totally agree.
Thanks for reading my review. :)

I’m an anti spoiler person. But I can tell you it had something to do with marking territories. :)

In so many ways, they were fortunate. Even if money was hard to come by, they had what mattered and they knew it. I long for a time when things could be simple, but know that's just not the direction society is headed. Thanks for a great review.
