The title is not what I thought the book would be about. It's a different world worth digging into. I enjoyed your thorough review. Thanks !

This autobiography sounds fascinating!! The author was raised in a cult-like society who witnessed the ritualistic practices and brutality. Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

Thanks for your review. Wow! What a topic. From what you've written it seems like this author has dealt with a lot of hardships while growing up. Living under the brutality of this cult must have been very difficult even if the author was a 'Prince'. Sounds like a good read. I've downloaded my copy and will start reading today although I'm not sure I'll complete the whole book. The details may be too emotionally raw and the cult too evil for me to read more than just the beginning.

If its true that such cults exist then I am terrified, otherwise this is a very detailed description of the mythical.

This a unique autobiography because in this book Rabii has brought a new dimension to religious beliefs and practices. I can't wait to find out all he exposes. And am certain this book deserves it's rating. Thumbs up Robin R Rabii!

I think it's great that the author is shedding light on the horrors one can experience at the hands of a fanatical religion because we still see this today with other fanatical religions that promote extreme levels of violence. I also love the fact that the author kept a loving stance towards his parents because it goes to show the conflicted nature of loving one's parents while disliking certain religious views they may have. Thanks for a detailed review!

Wow! This one sounds like a huge undertaking to go back and uncover the abuse you grew up in as a child. The idea that this religion still functions is absolutely horrifying, and I hope this author has found inner peace.

Sounds like a book that I would like to read, I've read about the Order of Melchisedec and, being fond of theology, I'm curious to know more about this ancient religion.

This is a very nice review. I am shocked that such religions exist even in the current age and time. The amount of torture the victims underwent sounds so bad and horrible. It is so unfortunate that most of them will have to live the rest of their lives with the horrors in mind. Nice book here.

Thank you for your review. It is a travesty that anyone, but most of all children must succumb to the abusive actions of others, both men and women. The capacity people have for hate under the guise of love is so totally out of my perspective I can't even come up with a word for it. Having said that, i believe it will be a very important book for our generation to read. I know I will be reading it.

I consider fanaticism an incurable desease. The minds of such people are so twisted that no one and nothing can change them. The atrocities performed in that order like tortures, beatings, forced fasting, ostracism, excommunication and mental terrorization and many others are so horrible that the author is very lucky to have escaped that swamp. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

That sounds like an absolute nightmare! I’ve never understood why some adults feel the need to beat children.
