Indeed, death is a topic many people avoid because they think death is the end of everything. However, I've read in the Bible that "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten." Therefore, dead people are just dead. They are waiting the call to be resurrected. Definitely, this book isn't for me. Thanks for the review, though.

This is another book genre that I'd not deliberately choose. I did encounter something like it in the past but such wasn't intentional but merely because it seemed like it's the only appealing enough to be read. Thus, I admire your courage and effort in tackling a significant feat and doing this piece ample justice.
