This doesn't seem like a book I would read as it isn't my usual genre, however, I loved your review of it.

You seem to have picked up something of the author's style in your review. :) I love the optimistic message this book sends. We could use the author's life experience to be more positive and believe we can succeed even when all the odds are against us. Thanks!

An account showing how to overcome cancer and its recurrences sounds moving indeed. Positive attitude seems to be one of the keys. That the author fused the concrete with the philosophical is to his credit. I admire his courage and determination. Thank you for the review!

This is relatable to me because cancer is common to my family. I am going to put this book on top of my bookshelves of inspiring novels! Congrats to the author for his courage!

Excellent review. I rather enjoy uplifting tales from resilient people and I feel compelled now to read Nathan’s account of his battle with cancer. Having lost family members to the disease and seen their struggle to remain positive, I am intrigued by the author’s apparently encouraging story. I look forward to reading it.

A masterpiece to say the least especially in the field of wellness. From the sample and the reviews of this book "Damn the Diagnosis" by Joel Nathan, I find an example of a rare book to find. It is kind of Joel to allow us to look at his love, as it gets narrated in the book, and learn from it. One of the biggest lessons from this book is resilience. Recovering from anything close to cancer is no joke.

This is a nice review. Thanks for it. The story of the author is touching. I believe that the struggle he faced after the diagnosis given was big. It is commendable that he finally decided to share his story so as to inspire others.

Your review makes this sound like a travel adventure book, and I guess in a way it is. The author seems to have traveled through different countries on the earth, and different countries in the medical world. If it is as intelligent and witty as you have made it sound, this will be an interesting read! Thanks for the review.

I agree at this type of story can be very uplifting. It can also be very discouraging, if you're one of those people strong, determined people who fight the disease with all you've got, and lose.

Sounds very inspiring! I am glad that the author chose to share his story and successes rather than wallow in self pity.
