This was a pretty informative review. I can gather that the book is well organized and carries genuinely utilitarian advice for both the typical young person entering college and the work force as well as those closer to middle age, such as yourself, seeking to rekindle their youthful fire toward the "perfect job." Good work.

I'm glad that you were inspired by this book. However, as a 35-year-old (old lady,) I don't think this one is for me. Good review. Thanks!

As a college student, I think that it might not be too late for me to check this out. I do have ideas on what I want to do once I graduate, but maybe I might learn some more things. I love that there are questions to ask an interviewer; that will be useful, too. Great review!

With all of the recent high school graduates, I think that this book would be a good fit for them. I think that it would be a suitable guide to make good choices. As I am not looking at returning to college I don't think that this book will be a good fit for me. Thanks for the interesting review!

Thank you for this detailed review! I remember college well, and it was indeed a tough time. So many of my friends were not really prepared for their first year, and I knew many who felt lost and kept changing majors, etc. A good plan needs to be formed before you enter college, and it seems this book encourages students to think about their futures right from the start, even when they are just beginning high school. I wish I had more opportunities to read books like this when I was that age! Fantastic review, looks like a lot of good info packed into this relatively slim volume!

I liked this book and wished that it had been around during my high school years. I am currently searching for a job and it has been tough. I agree that extracurriculars are important, but I didn't realize how important until now. I also agree that interviewing people involved in potential dream jobs is a good way of determining whether you like that career path.

A book like this should be distributed throughout campus. It is such a brilliant idea to write a book that guides you towards making the correct career choices. Thank you for your great review.

John G. Bendt has written a compact, information packed resource book that prepares the student for the transition from high school to college and job hunting. I would recommend this book to students and parents with students about to join college.

When I saw the title and the illustration of this book, I was like "oh another self-help college book". I would admit that this book is has a lot more to offer than the average self-help books available for students intending to go to college. I'm glad it's not lengthy. I believe those in high school will really benefit from reading this book. I don't really like self-help books so I'll skip this one. Thanks for the review.

A roadmap to career success is pretty good. It's not like any other career guide with bore topic. It is kinda story. The points may be more professional but its ok. It is not a big issue. Overall its good book
