This book is a brief outlet of the author’s view of what serving God should be like and it also serves as a stark reminder of God’s plan in the lives of every human on earth. It is important to understand that God's plans are different from human expectations or human logic. This is why people sometimes question God’s decisions because of the immense lack of wholesome understanding. “God’s Plan for You: 21-Day Devotional” by Tim Outlaw is a devotional book that realigns the reader’s thought process to fully come to terms with the fact that God always has a special plan and desire for everyone.

When I read this book, I can say that the relatable way the author passes across his messages is one of the standout points. One could immediately tell that the author is a person with a great sense of humor and is confident enough to portray their thought process to the readers. This is quite an endearing aspect, which I appreciate and I have to admit that it is a quality that makes the message of the book interesting. This intentional conversational tone truly attracted me to the message of the book and I won't lie. I loved it.

Through the numerous examples and scenarios that were presented in this book, the author makes it a point of duty to make sure his messages are relatable. Using sci-fi references and his personal experiences gave the whole book a sentimental human feeling that was analogous to the messages being presented. I particularly remember the story where the author had to quit a job because it constituted what people would call a “gray area.” Many people might just overlook an aspect like that because after all, “everyone does it,” but that didn’t sit well with him. I love how this portrayed strong noble values that every human being should possess. Instances like these make it so easy to relate and draw important points from the book.

I have no negative aspect to this book and I award it 5 out of 5 stars as a result. People who want a short Christian devotional would not go wrong if they picked this up. It has the necessary important values every good Christian must have; therefore, Christians would be most suited for it.
