I am definitely adding this to my want to read list. I volunteer at food banks and work mentoring people to rise out of poverty. Thank you for highlighting this issue.

I became aware of the existence of food banks while watching random videos on YouTube. Being an African (I'm from Nigeria), I had previously held the notion that everyone was considerably okay in First World countries. I never thought there'd be so many homeless people, low wage earners and food banks in these parts of the world. The hunger crises is indeed a global one.
Your review is really insightful and it has gotten me interested in the book. Thank you!

We've got the same notion that the rich countries did not undergo any financial crisis. On the other hand, I only knew the existence of Food Banks after reading the book.

This book is a well made masterpiece. It is very optimistic that the author could write a book tha might not be possible to happen
cause London is a rich country but in reality it will happen

You're welcome scarlet_17. This book could surely add up your knowledge. You can as well help the available Food Bank in your area financially or you may extend a hand to help them by being a volunteer.

Incredible, isn't it? And the thing is, it's not really a food crisis in any proper sense, because there is no shortage of food. Thanks for reviewing this book - it sounds as though it was worth the effort, despite the errors. I'm not sure that it would be a good idea for people to set up their own food banks, though. Official ones, run by recognised organisations, are given private information so they can identify people genuinely in need.
