ROAD MAP TO THE END (BOOK REVIEW)
Daniel Friedman is a very prolific writer with at least one other book that I have had the pleasure of reading. The subject of Road Map to The End of Days is about human history and whether or not history repeats itself. Mr. Friedman begins with an analogy of one wandering through a glass maze in an attempt to reach the exit.

The premise is one of trying to come to terms with the fact that historical events have seemingly repeated themselves throughout time and, will continue to do so until the End of Days. It is the author’s opinion that most religions see history as a maze with a beginning and an ending. The historicity of the authors claims come directly from the Bible and the Torah with many references to them. The author impresses the thought that we can change the future and take a shortcut in order to usher in the era of universal peace.

The author does hammer home the overriding thought that mankind has a Universal Timeline, a Divine Plan and a Basic Timeline of World History that must ultimately be adhered to according to the general pattern of biblical history. He gives an in depth explanation of the seven days of creation and how they relate to each concurrent millennium.

Due to mankind having free will to make the right moral choice or not, we must take in to consideration Divine Providence, meaning that everything is preordained and will work out according to a plan. If everything is preordained then each of us has the duty (if not the will) to uplift ourselves, as well as our fellow man. Free will may be given to every human, but God’s will, be done.

I did enjoy Road Map to the End of Days very much and rate it
4 out of 4
stars. Anyone interested in biblical events explained with an historical/spiritual slant will definitely enjoy this book. To some that may not be overly interested in such a religious bent, this may not be the right book. It is a well written book that is easily understood, with charts included that are pretty straight forward. I was affected positively by the book as it does very favorably give hope looking ahead, with the knowledge that we can and do affect the outcome of our destiny by making an effort to observe the Cosmic Laws set forward by God.
