Review of Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success

[Following is a volunteer review of "Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success" by Fabian Videla.]
Dreams are something we all have, but we often fear walking on the path that leads to the achievement of those dreams. To give you that extra push, this book, “Breaking the Mold: Remodeling your Way to Success” by Fabian Videla, can be a good choice.
In this book, the author has shared his entire journey to being successful and achieving what he has today. Of course, he had his share of failures, but it is how he looked past those failures and rose above and beyond it all.
He has also shared stories right from the initial years of his life, like how his father and aunt inspired him and how he applied the lessons he learned from them in his own business ventures. He also shares how his first real experience with labor and commerce came from working at his uncle’s farm, where he did the arduous job of harvesting grapes.
His first entrepreneurial venture, as he shares in the book, involved selling garlic, and I must say, I loved the author’s spirit. He did not give up; he found new ways to sell garlic and learned so much from it. Then, in his later years, he talked about becoming a computer entrepreneur and opening his first official company called ‘Lions Computers.’ Further, he talks about his entry into the remodeling business from scratch, his offering guidance on launching a construction business, and much more.
Through all of this, Fabian has taught so much to his readers. On a personal level, I learned the importance of teamwork, creating efficient systems and procedures, maintaining a work-life balance, the importance of education, creating relationships with everyone (suppliers, customers, and peers), and the power of networking. I liked the way in which he has imparted these lessons throughout the book.
I also loved the concept of ‘P3,’ which is ‘Profits, Profits, and Profits.' The organization of this book is a big plus for me, as it includes lessons of success after every chapter, which was such a beautiful addition in my opinion. There are even QR codes throughout the book that offer you more content from the author and even provide you with access to his contacts, which is again such a thoughtful addition. It is very systematic and easy to understand. I believe I will reread the book to gain more clarity on certain concepts and shift my mindset.
Considering my likes for the book, as I mentioned above, and the overall impact that this book has created for me, I would give it 5 out of 5 stars. I did not dislike anything about the book. It has been exceptionally edited as well, and I could not find any noticeable errors throughout. For anyone who wants to achieve success in their lives, this book is gold.
