Are you trying to heal from the trauma of abandonment or rejection? Are you trying to get over that broken relationship? Boadi Moore takes a friendly approach through this book, Healing Your Attachment Wounds, to give a detailed approach on how to deal with this.

The author emphasizes the fact that childhood attachments do not disappear with time; they follow you into adulthood, especially when it has to do with family. She uses her own experiences to illustrate this, highlighting the importance of having a mental space and quiet time in the healing process. This book adopts a holistic approach, combining personal experiences with facts based on research. People suffer attachment issues, especially from past traumatic relationships, heartbreaks, loss of a loved one or a pet, change of environment or lifestyle, and many more. From the book, Boadi Moore experienced a temporary separation from her family, especially her children, and described her journey trying to heal from the attachment wounds.

Reading this book, I learned the importance of creating attachments with people and places. However, we must bear in mind that these attachments may be short-lived owing to the fact that nothing lasts forever. It is therefore necessary to heal when these attachment wounds occur. I can totally relate to the author's experiences because it can be traumatic having to live without family members after building so much bond with them. I believe other readers would relate to the content of this book. I love the author's kind words and use of nonjudgmental approaches in tackling this issue.

I rate this book five out of five stars owing to the fact that it doesn't have any negative aspects. It was exceptionally well edited, as I found no errors in it. I have no dislikes whatsoever about the book. I recommend Healing Your Attachment Wounds to lovers of good books and people trying to heal from attachment wounds.

It's sad that people don't heal easily from their traumatic pasts. This book gives a guide on how to go about it.
A very interesting read!

I can relate very well with this book because I was once a victim of a traumatic heartbreak. It was really difficult for me to heal. So, I think everyone going through a traumatic experience should get this book.

Being a victim of domestic violence, I can agree that childhood traumas don't disappear suddenly. They follow you into adulthood and have a great impact on your life.
I'll definitely read this book.

It's important to create attachments and it's much more important to know that these attachments may leave wounds after being severed. That's the core message of this book - how to heal from attachment wounds.
