Can a human envisage the uncertainties of life? If yes, what is the escape route? As I read the book “Chasing Seyboro” by 'Diesel' Dave Galloway, I could not stop imagining the precarious nature of human life. A person can move from one point of healthy life to the other end of gasping for life. It became essential that there be a need to live life to the fullest because the next minute is not guaranteed.

The book starts by introducing Dave. He is a husband to Kay Galloway, father to three children, grandfather to many children, friend to many, team member to his grandsons, Gabe and Caleb, member of the Seyboro Cyclist bicycle club, and director of the N.C. Motorcycle Safety Program. At the point of the incidents, he is the state director of the North Carolina Motorcycle Safety Education Program. The period represents the darkest period of his life.

His life was changed drastically after the accident in December 2006. He went into a coma, not knowing what was happening in his environment. As he went through different surgical moments, the possibility of his survival declined. Many questions are popping out of the reader's head. Will he make it out of the hospital? Will his belief in God save him? Will his family survive the devastating moments? Find out from the pages of the book.

I enjoyed the concept of the guest book, as it is innovative. The author always believes that God is always watching him. I like the spirit of love that connected the families and the clubs. I like the descriptive nature of the book. The narration is educational, informational, and insightful. The writing style is a positive aspect of the book. It is detailed and descriptive.

I found nothing to dislike about the book. It gave me many lessons. I learned that, amidst everything, life is unpredictable. There are no negative aspects to the book. I enjoy the narrative. The editing is flawless. I rate “Chasing Seyboro” by 'Diesel' Dave Galloway 5 out of 5 stars. You can find the reasons for my rating above. I recommend the book to extended families. Social clubs will learn from the book.
