Review of Chasing Seyboro
Have you read a book that will open your eyes to the importance of the simple things neglected in life? Have you been in a situation where you appreciated the ability to talk, see, move, swallow, eat, stand, or even speak? Do you know that hope will keep a person going in a time of hopelessness? Have you realized the importance of the phrase “Never give up”? “Chasing Seyboro” by 'Diesel' Dave Galloway will help the author appreciate everything life offers.
“Chasing Seyboro” by 'Diesel' Dave Galloway details Dave's life, challenges, fears, losses, faith, belief system, and fighting spirit. The book is a beacon of hope for everyone who needs a reason to hold on to faith. Dave is a dreamer. He is the director of N.C. Motorcycle Safety Program. He aspires to become the fastest cyclist and compete in the Tour de France and the Olympics.
His life and dreams came to a sudden stop in December 2006. On that faithful Thursday, he was riding north on Wheat Swamp Road in Greene County; as he was approaching the Hull Road interception, a slightly blind man in a Nissan Altima struck him head-on. This single accident opens the dark phase of the author’s life. Will he recover from the collision? Did he die at that interception? What happened to his dreams? Readers will find answers in the book.
The book is a story of perseverance and hope. The readers will understand the need for perseverance and learn how to handle hopeless situations. I like the narrative nature of the book. It identifies every detail for the reader. The author's sincerity is a positive aspect of the book, as it creates a relatable environment for the readers.
There are no negative aspects to the story. I learned from the experiences in the book. I notice some editing concerns. These are the things I dislike about the book. I rate “Chasing Seyboro” by 'Diesel' Dave Galloway 5 out of 5 stars. I did not deduct a star due to the editing concerns, which are a result of the book format that I read. Thus, I would say that the editing is flawless. I recommend the book to families. Medical personnel will love the book.
