I totally agree, kandscreeley! It's about time someone addresses the other half of goal setting. :) You made an excellent point!

An inspirational and a guide book with 10 proven steps on how to set your goals for success. I guess I like it. Thanks for the review.

Sounds like my piece of cake. Life is all about aspirations and goals that knowingly, unknowingly we yearn for. Better off, as introduced by yourself about the book that we merge in emotions into the symmetry. After all we are not machines running after milestones.

Excellently put, Fatima70! Yes, that part of the book made so much sense to me.

The book sounds like a must read!, and i love the fact that he used the book as a platform to communicate his experience on goal setting in order to enlighten people and hopefully saving them from not making the same mistakes he made.

I'm not really a big fan of self-help books, but I can see how the simple layout of this one and the helpful information would appeal to those who enjoy these types of books. Thanks for the insight!

Thanks for your thoughtful review.

It's great that the author takes an innovative approach by not just talking about goal setting, but actually focusing on how to implement the goals in practice. Setting goals is just a beginning and it's so important not to lose heart in the middle or you will not reach the end. It sounds as if this book contains advice on how to stay focused, including the idea of a Breakthrough Goal. I will check this book out.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

Interesting point about the goals opposing one's worldview. I've learned the same from a self-help "guru" a while ago, and it's actually true. Great review.

A self-help book that not only teaches one how to set goals but also explains how to reach those goals is a nice addition to the genre. Adding the author own experience is a nice touch. Not my cup of tea, but I am glad you found the book helpful. Thank you for the review!

From your review I have written down some points, one being that you cannot get rich by imagining that all rich people are evil. Wow . That is challenging to some people who ... I don't want to finish that sentence .

I’m not one that jumps into motivational reading, especially those that proclaim successes following an “X” step process. That being said, there are definitely those that respond significantly to this kind of instruction and the fact that it shows not only how to set goals, but also how to reach those goals, is a distinct advantage. Thank you for the review.
