I admire Kimberly's bravery. Reflecting back on her troubled past and still adding a touch of humor to it is inspiring.

I like that it is both inspiring and humorous. Ms. Love sounds like one of those larger than life characters.

I enjoyed reading your review. It really gave me a feel for the book.

Hmm..from your review, I can sense that Ms Love is a strong and independent woman. Despite her rough childhood, she still chooses to live her life to the fullest. Definitely I need to read this book to be inspired and to enjoy the humor of her story. Great review!

Is the author's family name (presumably her father's) really "Love"? If so, how ironic that someone who can't is named "Love."

I am glad that Kimberly turned out well despite (or because) of her life's troubles. As they say, "What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger." I don't know how whiskey tastes, but I do know that sunshine feels good, especially after a lot of rain.

Thanks for your uplifting review, Kandscreeley!

She didn't really talk about her last name, so I'm not sure. Thanks for the comment, though!

Sad to hear there were some spelling and grammar issues, and admittedly the cat story didn't seem especially funny or interesting, but the title of this novel alone makes me want to read it!

I considered reading this book at one point. I'm glad the stories were both humorous and inspirational. Sometimes it can be difficult to connect with personal stories, but it seems like this author had no problem creating a connection with the reader. Great review!

gunnar- yeah, but sometimes reading it second hand like that isn't the best. You probably would have to read the whole story to really make it funny.

Marisa- Thanks so much!

Writing your memoir can be cathartic, but that doesn't always mean it's enjoyable for others to read.
Very true. Too bad there were so many errors throughout, but I'm glad you enjoyed the memoir. Humor goes a long way toward making this genre inviting. Thanks for the review!

Another great review! Humorous and inspirational...it sounds like a nice blend in a memoir. Hopefully, the author will give the book an extra round or two of editing and then update the corrections to the e-book version.
