Indeed, before, during and after a pregnancy are stressful and demanding stages of life for both parents. Good thing there are books like this one that helps the parents to survive through this period of their lives.

Seems like a very interesting, well-thought book from a credible source (seemingly a rarity these days). Good and thorough review. While I have no immediate need for this book (that I know of), I am happy such a book exists for couples expecting a child.

It's sad that it's become a rarity, isn't it? Well, now you know it's out here if you learn any surprising news, haha. Thanks for checking out my review!

I was going through various reviews and this one caught my attention. The title itself is eye catching. How on earth are we pregnant? With whom are we? The thought ran into my mind.
I have enjoyed reading your review though a constant question has been ringing in my mind. Why these question marks, before the start of some paragraphs?

TITLES THAT RATTLE THE MIND

The title of this book, "We`re Pregnant" reminds me of the famous words by the then Prime Minister of Britain, Margaret Thatcher, when one of her twins had a baby. She is reported to have exclaimed, "We are a grandmother". That statement generated a lot of comments on and off the media as to what exactly she meant. By "we", did she mean she and her husband, Denis? If that was the case, then how could Denis, a man, be a "grandmother". Similarly, Jesus is quoted in the Bible as having told a number of Jewish scribes who were challenging him for comparing himself with Abraham : “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” (John 8:58 in the English Standard Version). Again, when Moses asked for God`s name in Exodus 3:14, God quizzically responded, "I am that I am". These are statements which have always intrigued me. I wonder what you think.

Latest Review: "Veterans Day" by J. J. Jorgens

When I was pregnant I read what to expect when expecting and it did not cover still births just what happens during a healthy pregnancy so it is good to know that there is a book out there that helps you prepare for all aspects of possibilities. It is even better that it is coming from a pediatrician. I must read this book.
