The premise of the book catches your attention and pulls you in. The actual novel not so much.

I like the review. Though, most people make mistakes of marrying a wrong person with the hope that he/she may change the person. It rarely works!

I read this book as well and enjoyed it a bit more than you did, but this is a genre I am very fond of in general. I absolutely agree that the stories were often repetitive and cyclical.

It's hard to judge how people felt because it's a feeling that hard to figure out it's hard for both of them they both confused all they have in mind is depressed because there also love there in the heart but the minds can't handle temptation

Nice review. The author comes across as a someone who met her challenges with fortitude. Far from being a perfect human being herself she had an inkling of hope she can help transform her late husband. For her expressing raw feelings, mental courage and strength I give her a 4 out of 4. She has succeeded to prove to all marriage is all about hard work. Not being a bed of roses is an understatement.

U love someone as he is not trying to change him. Every has their own and unique personality. You should accept that too. And that is real love. Great review Jaime.

Just based on the title, I decided to keep this one away. After reading your review, I'm glad I did so. Too bad the recollection of experiences the author portrayed are not projected in an appealing way. Thanks for the honest review!

It sounds like this book was written less as an offering to its audience and more as some kind of bizarre catharsis for an eternally jilted woman. What a strange (and tedious) sounding book. Ah, well... GREAT review, by the way.

Marry someone because you Love him/her. But not marry because you just want to change a person. Lucky you are if it happens. But if not then, you will regret it. So waste of time. And marriage is sacred. Nice review! Thanks.

I love your frankness with this review and it's a pity that the author's perfectly written grammar still made for a less engaging read. As for the plot, I just love the reiteration of the "Don't marry someone, thinking you'll change them" philosophy. It truly can't be over emphasized. Thanks for the succinct review.

That sounds like really hard work! I think even people interested in family dynamics might struggle with this one - well done you for persevering.
