As authors, some of us may not understand how our presentation, our "brand", influences people to buy or not buy our books (beyond the "cover", lol). I am a lifelong student and the fact that this book adds the "history" of branding and shows examples of good and bad? I'm all over that!

These issues continue a train of thought that was set in motion for me by watching Mad Men, which the author references in the book. The case studies must provoke readers to consider well-known products and world trade in a new light.

A very good and thoughtful review. Sounds like this book may be worth looking into. I try to keep up with new ideas on the business side of writing, but so many of the books out there are dry. This sounds like it would be a nice read.

I enjoyed reading this book, because I myself is going towards that direction of a consultant/counsellor. This was pretty much a very informative subject line and so I do think that people can grasp this and enhance their knowledge. Bottom line is each and every work is important it doesn't matter the area one took, their is always a need for us. Great book!
