I like to read about immigrant experiences. Just recently I read "London for immigrant suckers" and enjoyed it (recommendation from this site), so hopefully, this one will be as good - but if judging by your wonderful review, I'm sure it will be.

It's always a delight to read about people rising from the ashes. Whoever we are, wherever we are, we can too.

Hi, Ritah! The author's middle name is spelled wrong. It should be Oughta. Whatever he dreams of, he oughta do it.

Hi there, Kelebogile Mbangi! We've missed you!

The author's life is really awe-inspiring. You wouldn't think so many things (both good and bad) can happen to just one person.

Welcome back!

Now, this is an inspiring review. Very detailed and entertaining. I'm usually not a fan of sports (in any shape or form), but I do remember watching a movie in the similar vein and quite enjoying it, so, who knows, I might enjoy this book as well.

I've always thought owning a business could be fun, but never mustered the effort to actually try it. The modern-day renaissance man author probably has a better head for business, so maybe I'll just give this a read and live vicariously through him. Thanks for the review!
