I fully agree with your point. That's why I mentioned at the end of the review that a thorough proofreading and editing job would bring my rating up to 3, even 4 stars. The Researcher wrote:Very thorough review Kislany. But I think I would only read this book , if its next version comes out properly edited.

That was my first thought too. I had to re-read that passage to make sure I didn't misunderstand it. But no, sadly I didn't.Miriam Molina wrote:Thanks for the honest review, kislany! For the saintly Mother Teresa to be compared to the monstrous Attila is sacrilegious!

Some copyediting and proofreading would have definitely helped this book increase in ratings. Hopefully, an eventual new printing edition will have these glaring problems fixed.Quinto wrote:Too bad the author's mentality of "become a winner" as per his book title didn't translate to a winning review. That shows how a winning mentality includes knowing what you are not good at, and acknowledging other's expertise and seeking their help.
Thank you for a helpful and informative review.

Once it's properly edited, it's definitely worth a look, I recommend it in that case. Thanks for coming by!Gingerbo0ks wrote:When reading your review I was interested in the book as I am stuck in a corporate job for a big business. I also studied Maslow's theory when I was at college. However it seems a bit of a mess on the formatting and grammatical side, it's a turn off. Maybe if it was edited I would give it a try.

I appreciate your honesty. I have an interest in business and would be interested in reading the book, but only after it goes through some editing and revision. Thank you for the review, I enjoyed reading it - I love the way you write. It's too bad the book had so many flaws.kislany wrote:It is true, reviewers must be honest and state the facts correctly and if there are errors, they should point them out. It is shady when, for example, a book has only 5 stars on Amazon and all reviewers give it glowing recommendations. Even best-sellers have a variety of different ratings and opinions about the book.

Thank you for coming by. Yes, everyone who reads it will have their own idea about the book and their own rating. Pity that it had so many grammatical errors, else I would have given it a higher rating.Gregory Chileshe wrote:Thanks for the review. The title to me seems to be great but your rating changes everything about how I imagine the book was. Anyway your review leaves room for those who can try to read it and review for themselves to have their own rating. But of course consideration has to be there for one reading it as to the reason put forward for why you have given that rate.

I also left the scene but after 10 years. I might still check out the book for advisory purposes.kislany wrote:I think you have a point there. And yes, this book is not your regular self-help book, it's with a particular target market in mind. Which reminds me...thank god I left the rat race after being stuck in it for 25 years

I'll steer clear of this one, though. Errors aside, I find the author's ideas about Mother Teresa to be offensive. I can handle a lot in my reading (you can tell that with the last review of mine that you read), but Mother Teresa is someone I hold in high regards. I'm sure when making the comment, the author knew some readers would be upset.
Thank you again. I enjoyed your review.
