I think Eric Kaufman and Joaquin F. Matias' book, A Call to Action, is really commendable. Its main theme of ensuring a secured future for mankind is encompassing, I am impressed.

While this sound like a bit of an intense read for me I will admit it does sounds intriguing. Your review sounds like it's overall a good one, and I'm glad it turned out to be something that you liked. Maybe I'll come around to read it someday.

Overall, A Call to Action is a visionary manifesto for how to secure a brighter future that, with collective will, may allow us to skirt the abyss of inaction. I would rate it 4 out of 4 as it deserves it. Writers have done an epic job in collecting so much of information in form of different pieces of puzzle and then wonderfully combined them to form a single picture for those who can see it. Now, it is up to us whether we deny the fact what's waiting ahead of us in form of devastation and extinction or transform these plans of survival into action. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Each and every person must be aware of what our actions are bringing upon us and how we can enhance our chances of survival. Be aware, Earth is a living cell, which will adapt itself to various environments as she did by freezing over during the last ice age, or heating up and generating the level of volcanic activity that resulted in changed land formations. For our part, we need to focus on being species savers, with a particular focus on saving our own species. Tick Tick!
