Your thoughts on the labeling of kids according to the IQ hit the mark accurately. But I think if this system will be dissolved then some other measures will come into existence. As it is human nature which craves for classification and hierarchy.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

There is indeed much controversy about the topic. I wonder why we need to classify people, much more children, who will bear the scourge all their lives. I commend you for sharing your own "weakness." I believe in the uniqueness of each person; each one has a wonderful talent to share. Genius should not be confined to mental prowess.

Great review. I enjoyed reading it. I learn something new. I'm glad the author exposes the real capacity of a person. We are not limited to that kind of standard but there's still behind to discover. Thanks for your review.

I think I'm going to like this book. It's important to accept that people are different, and a particular accepted standard can not be all in all for people who were made to be unique. Some of these tests could have negative effects on people, all their lives are wasted pursuing a sense of perfect which is not achievable.

Some school systems have used other parameters for decades. Both systems my kids were in, in the '90s, used creativity and inquisitiveness in addition to IQ and performance.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I've heard of TCQ, when there were attempts to change the school curriculum in my country. I'll look it up, seems like an interesting read. Thanks for the review.
