Although I don’t typically read books in economics for fun, I think it’s very important to be informed. This book definitely sounds informative! I’m glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks for the great review!

As someone living in Asia, it would be interesting how the author viewed the growth of its financial industry. I barely felt any growth in my country, but I hope it was progressing. Thank you for your review!

I’ll admit, after reading the free sample, I don’t think this book is for me. I have a feeling I’d end up skimming or putting off reading a book like this if I tried.

Alternately, I’m actually kind of fascinated by the fact that you mentioned the 9/11 terrorist attacks affected their economy. I’m not really surprised, exactly, but rather it’s something I hadn’t even bothered to consider thus far even though it makes perfect sense.

I will read this book because I work in the financial industry, and I find it interesting, but your review would have made me want to read it regardless. Thank you for the informative review.

It’s always good to relate personally with a book! Good review. I like reading nonfiction, but this would be one I’d probably scan.

Unfortunately, I can't say that I'm interested in the financial history of Asia but I found the fact that 9/11 affected that part of the world intriguing. I really liked your review and the fact that you added a personal touch, I'm glad you got to learn a bit more about your heritage. :)

Thanks for your review. It sounds like you really enjoyed this book. In-depth info about finances is not really one of my interests but this seems like a well-done book for those that are interested.

I think this book will be great for someone who are interested in money matters. I read the preview and I can see the author knows his stuff. It is not my interest , but I think it is still a great book.

Nice book on Asia's economic growth within the last 30 years. It is a challenge to African lagging nations. Nice review of the book too.

For any type of non-fiction book, the author's ability to be objective is what makes or breaks their words. I'm glad the author portrayed objectivity in writing this book. It sounds like there is a lot of great information, but I have to admit that many of the terms mentioned when describing this book are just over my head. I don't know much about the financial industry, so I don't think this one is for me. Thanks for the insightful review!

Im not really interested in financial books and especially when they will probably never be relatable so I think I'm going to skip this one.

This doesn't really sound like a book I'd read, although it'd be really interesting to know a little more about Asian history.

This book doesn’t seem to be the kind of book that I would usually read so I think I’ll pass on this book. I usually don’t read books about finance either, but it was interesting to note that 9/11 affected the other side of the world as well. Great job on the review!
