Life can be unpredictable, yet it makes sense when those unpredictable things happen. The author goes through a similar unpredictable experience that changes how he looks at life. His way of living, working, and interacting with people changed for the better. Karmic Selling by Stan Gwizdak is a book that you would not want to read fast and finish in one go. It makes you want to read slowly and savor the words in your mind.

In this book, the author shows how the image of a salesperson can change to someone authentic to the interactions they are having as a human being. And not just trying to sell, sell, and sell. The author’s disappointing experiences in the corporate world led to a life-or-death situation. That’s when he knew that he had to leave that world of perpetual rat races. The author emphasizes helping people and listening to them rather than just trying to get money out of their pockets.

I read the writer's first experience with a salesperson, and it took me back to my childhood. I had a similar experience of seeing a salesperson knock on the door of our house and an interaction between him and my father. It was amusing to read such a relatable experience in a book. I could see from the author’s writing that he had a penchant for sales, even as a kid. He had the qualities and methods to sell since his childhood. I loved that the author has included various experiences that solidified his belief in karmic selling. The case studies included in the book accentuate what the writer wants to say very well. I also like the steps or a checklist provided after each chapter to implement and remember the karmic selling philosophy.

At some points, I noticed the repetitiveness of the narration and the lessons from the author's experience. I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars, deducting one star for the feeling of rereading the same sentences every few pages. The book is exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read some light non-fiction.
