Review of UNEMPLOYABLE
“Unemployable,” by Alysia Silberg, is this rare book that, within the very first pages, captivates and moves. This is a book written with so much passion and conviction that you feel the author’s every story through the pages so vividly.
Living in South Africa, Alysia learns that however painful life may be, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Hard work and creativity have been instilled in her, and they go with her every step of the way. The biggest loss of her life becomes a defining moment and throws her into creating a life in her own terms. Despite a mother who seems to despise her, Alysia stands strong, because there’s no other way out.
Sentences have been crafted by a storyteller, and the sentences enthrall because they convey deep emotions, inspiring/compelling motivations, vigorous energy, and the purpose of life.
Having a vision, not giving up, believing in oneself, and having to accept the cruelty that the person who’s supposed to love you the most does just the opposite paint the reality of a life that could easily be yours or mine. “Unemployable” beautifully introduces stories that teach lessons of tenacity, commitment, dedication, passion, and innovation, all revolving around entrepreneurship, a vision, and technology. To top it all, the illustrations scattered throughout add so much meaning and color to this biography.
Without a doubt, I strongly recommend this book to anyone seeking motivation, as it explores the limitless possibilities that could exist in your or my life if we committed to them. Accompanied by hard work, a clear entrepreneurial vision, and technology, one is armed with a toolkit that helps us see far and beyond. Neither poverty nor abuse should get in our way. The book is professionally edited, making the read smooth. There’s absolutely nothing to dislike about it. With that said, I rate this book five out of five stars.
