Unemployable by Alysia Silberg is a non-fiction motivational book for young entrepreneurs. Right from a very young age, Alysia had a knack for business and entrepreneurship. She helped her dad in the pharmacy and costume shop and even started her own business in school, where she used to sell goods like accessories and stationery to her classmates.

Growing up in an abusive house and an unsafe neighborhood, the book begins with glimpses of hardships faced by her in South Africa. But that didn't hinder the young girl's spirit but motivated her to embark on the journey of independence. All the little details in the book, like the one where she worked hard to buy the pink roller skates, taught her classmates and established a small business of her own, were very inspiring and motivating. The book highlighted her entrepreneurial journey from selling costumes for her father to becoming a venture capital investor in America. It wonderfully describes her sheer dedication and determination towards her studies, especially mathematics, and how she achieved the scholarship to complete her schooling at one of the best schools in Johannesburg and later her bachelor's in Canada.

There were quite a few things that I loved about the book. It was short, crisp, and very engaging. I loved the admiration and respect the author had for her father. The author's never-give-up attitude was something I admired. The last few chapters of the book which consisted of stories of different entrepreneurs with whom Alysia had worked, were very insightful. It also highlighted the importance of meditation and yoga. One thing that I learned from it was that every failure teaches you something, and you should always accept it with a smile.

Overall, there was nothing that I disliked about the book. The book had no typos or errors due to the commendable and flawless editing. I would recommend this book to all entrepreneurs and business owners.
For the reasons mentioned above, I give the book 5/5 stars.
