This book has a lot going on for me: I love memoirs, I love adventures. I find the personal experiences of the author very fascinating. Not a typical narrative, this is the story of an adventurer who sails on seas as a mother and a wife.

You're right, RegularGuy3. It's so unfortunate when an otherwise good book gets a low notch for not effectively tackling stubborn editing demons.

I rate the review as 4 out of 4. Yes, it has a sense of adventures which carry a big values in life. Tina Dreffin wrote this story which her imagination or experience put in it. I am excited to read more adventurous and fantasy stories

A book with a travel theme must be an excellent read couple that with the author letting us in her insecurities and feelings on her travel experience , makes for a perfect read. You review is on point highlightin

I don't usually read non-fiction, but this book seems to have enough adventure for me! The narrator can really make the difference in a memoir. Thanks for the review!

This is a very fair review, although I don't think the jumps in the story from present-day to incidents occurring in the past and then back again was as annoying as this reviewer did. I actually felt it lent more understanding to the emotional makeup of the author and her perspective. Learning about the amazing Tina Dreffin was awesome.

Thanks for the review.
You are right in saying that it opens a window into a world we may not experience. And books do take us on a journey of our own.
The book seems interesting with hilarious accounts of adventure and educative.
