Are you a salesperson who is struggling to make a living in sales? Do you find it difficult to cope with modern business sales methods? If so, The Intelligence Factor could be of great help to you in the establishment of an easier sales process. It was written by Erik Fisher.

Over time, some sales strategies have progressively become less effective due to the introduction of online sales models. Sales have gradually moved from in-person sales to online strategies, and as such, businesses no longer need salespeople early in the sales process. Instead, they are seen as trusted advisors or partners. To earn a prospect's trust, a salesperson needs to follow strategies such as building confidence in prospects, identifying ideal prospects, communicating effectively with prospects, bringing value and insight to the prospects, and finding phenomenal success. Success as a salesperson also entails one's ability to manage their time and display business acumen.

Communicating effectively with prospects could be achieved by following the guidelines in the acronym AIDA. This describes a message that is short, straight to the point, and capable of generating interest. It should create credibility, help the prospect make a decision, and it should drive their attention to solving their business problems. This could apply to various forms of messaging, including email messaging and live phone messaging.

I did not have any dislikes for this book. The strategies expressed in the book were practical and easier to implement. They included advice on building relationships with competitors and avoiding speaking negatively about a competitor in front of a prospect. The importance of being patient and consistent while making sales was emphasized. Keeping track of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of one's competitors could also help.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It was exceptionally well-edited. It had a full rating because the ideas contained in it were easily understood and helpful. It also contained the personal experiences of the author. I was impressed by the book's wealth of knowledge about making sales. I can't wait to apply some of them. I recommend this book to salespeople and marketers.

This review is super helpful! It breaks down modern sales in a way that's easy to get. The AIDA thing for messaging makes sense, and I like how it talks about building trust and being patient.

Nice review and book. I will give this a pass. I'm not interested in the book. The book already sounds boring to read.
