Sharon Buffalo's book, "Finding Yourself in Psalm 91 Through Personal Testimonies," is a powerful exploration of faith and personal growth. Each chapter delves into a specific verse of Psalm 91, offering insights and real-life experiences that resonate with readers. From overcoming fear and challenges to trusting in God's protection, the book weaves together personal stories with biblical teachings to inspire and encourage. The author's journey, along with her daughter's struggles with mental health and other life challenges, serves as a testament to the unwavering presence of God in our lives. Throughout the book, Sharon Buffalo's deep faith and reliance on God's guidance shine through, offering hope and strength to readers facing their own trials. The book's message is one of resilience, faith, and the transformative power of God's love, making it a compelling read for anyone seeking encouragement and spiritual growth.

I liked that the author shares her own vulnerabilities and triumphs, from overcoming fear and illness to trusting God through adversity. By sharing personal testimonies and insights, the book provides practical guidance for cultivating a deeper relationship with God. This personal touch creates a deep connection with readers, allowing them to see themselves reflected in her experiences. Throughout the book, the author demonstrates how God's protection and guidance can lead us through even the darkest moments. Her daughter's recovery from mental illness and her own unexpected blessings showcase the transformative power of faith. The book delves into the real struggle between good and evil, equipping readers with tools to fight for their peace and recognize God's hand in their lives.

There is nothing I dislike about this book. The book is exceptionally well edited. The "Five P's" (Prayer, Praise, Posture, Position, Priorities), the concept of a "Trust Library," and the meditation section (Pause, Reflect, and Find God) present readers with tangible strategies to improve and deepen their faith and relationship with God. I enjoyed how all of the chapters were titled with Psalm 91 verses, making the book easy to navigate and interesting to read. The author's tone in creating this book was cheerful, and the book's cover matches that perfectly.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it is an uplifting book that inspires, uplifts, and challenges readers to seek God's presence in their own lives. Due to the topic of this book, I believe it is only appropriate for Christians and those who believe in the Bible, but it is still open to anyone looking for an uplifting read. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian self-help books and is looking for spiritual growth, encouragement, and a greater awareness of God's presence in their lives.
