Sounds like a book I would read when I'm all stressed out and would like to be relieved. I love funny books and I think this is for me.

I love books like these. Real life issues mixed with humour is fabulous! Well done on book of the day.

Thank you for the review. The book sounds funny, but it's not for me.

It is interesting to note how the story is driven by unique characters.

Well I do like humour a lot but the story has to be grasping. From the review I guess the book is good so I would give it a try for sure. Thanks for the wonderful review.

This book walks you into a family that is tight. It opens up a clandestine house that you walk by at night. Phillip cornell has introduced a typical family that had their share of challenges. If you come from a broken home you will love this family and their interdepence. This family is seemingly innocent. Or are they?

Thank you for the informative review and you did a great job on it. This seems like an interesting and simplistic story line. I can't say for sure if this is my type of book because it could go either way for me. I guess I would just have to read it to know for sure.

Seems to be a light humorous read. Will definitely give it a try.
What is the most special thing I did today- I was MYSELF. Happy and in love and unapologetically myself.

Wonderful review and I looked forward to the sample to see if this was going on my "to read" list. I was disappointed though, as the writing almost reminds my of a high school paper. I'm glad most people seem to enjoy it, but it's not for me.

If it's funny enough, I might not need much of a plot to feel involved and invested in the novel. The variety of characters in the family seems to hold promise for some humorous moments. I hope the sample will be illuminating about whether the book's sense of humor is compatible with mine.

Vacation To Graceland by Phillip Cornell was intended as a humorous book and it came out that way. Wasif Ahmed wrote - The book also seemed professionally edited and I couldn't spot any grammatical errors or mistakes. Excuse me, I will not hire the proofreaders of this book to do any editing for me. The book was riddled with mistakes in grammar. But nevertheless, the humor was not lost. I may read this book if it's free. Otherwise... :tiphat: :no-spoil:

it seemed to be a nice book. Having to plan the vacation well before hand, although it was 6 people in a family with only a 5 seat car (that was planned too :D ). I think that's what brings in the fun, being squeezed in a car and not getting along. but in the end they all get everything working out.

The book Vacation to Graceland has been neatly reviewed and interested me in reading it. Difficulties during travel is a common factor which we all experience. Definitely would read this book. Thanks.

Reading the review (and the free sample) of the book, makes me want to read the book. Just thinking of crowding 6 people in a 5-seater SUV for a 4 to 5 hours drive, makes me feel tired. The family may be dysfunctional but, perhaps this family reunion to Memphis would bind them closer. Thumbs up and congratulations for being BOTD.
