Boadi Moore's book, "Healing Your Attachment Wounds," delves into the subjects of attachment, trauma, and relationships. Embarking on a personal journey, the author uncovers the profound impact of childhood and adulthood trauma on her relationships and decisions. She makes an effort to reestablish contact with her kids by organizing a road trip, demonstrating her genuine understanding of them and her readiness to interact with them on their terms. While enjoying sweet times with her youngest daughter and grandkids and having a pleasant coffee date with her son, problems with her oldest daughter emerge that call for setting limits and taking a short break. Nonetheless, the writer expresses an unshakeable love and invites you to spend a future holiday together.

The book delves into attachment theory, exploring various attachment types—secure, anxious, avoidant, and disorganized—and how they impact adult relationships. Throughout the book, the importance of early social experiences in developing positive adult relationships is emphasized, and the manifestations of attachment coping strategies are explained. One noteworthy quality of this book is its excellent editing. Finding a book completely free of typos and grammatical faults is an extremely unusual accomplishment. Here, it's evidence of the painstaking attention to detail put into writing this book. Such faultless editing ensures that readers are not distracted by mistakes, allowing them to fully engage with the text—an accomplishment worthy of praise.

There was nothing I didn’t like in this book. It was a fabulous book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would rate it 5 out of 5 stars. The book is helpful for people experiencing relationship issues, such as trouble trusting others, intimacy anxiety, or a habit of ruining relationships. Readers may gain a deeper understanding of their attachment type and the skills necessary to build more stable and satisfying relationships by using Moore's activities and tactics.
