I think the book is extremely well written and very inspirational, the author is to be commended for being will to right this book given how close to home it is for them. I absolutely loved how the book was finished I don't think there is any other way that would be more perfect. I will definitely be reread as it is such an insightful journey and although at point it made me angry and want to cry it's such a powerful piece of literature. As someone from Australia I think learning about the challenges within the United States educational system is very good as while I know all bout Australia's own struggles in supporting neurodivergebt children I had never previously consider it important to look globally about the issue. This book has really opened my eyes up to how children across the globe are suffering and actually made me want to look more into the adversities brought up throughout the book on a global level. This book was truly one outside my comfort zone and not something I would normally read but I am so glad I took the chance to read this, I have absolutely 0 regrets picking up this book.
