Review of GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU: 21-DAY DEVOTIONAL
I rate God's Plan for You: 21-Day Devotional a 5 out of 5 stars.
Genuinely, this book looks professionally published. The chapters are perfectly concise for a daily reading schedule, I could not find a single grammar/spelling error, and the flow of the 21 day schedule felt natural to follow to allow for growth over time.
Each chapter concludes with a short prayer and guided reflection, and I found each of these reflections to accurately build off the provided material for the chapter. This meant that I left each chapter with a question or two that I needed to chew on, and I was provided that opportunity along with the space to write my thoughts. The authors encouragement to not only read a devotion, but to reflect on it, and then write what you felt, really causes the material to sink in and impact the reader.
I did not notice a single typo in the book, and it felt professionally edited.
The only place that I could consider offering a suggestion to help make the book better, it would be for the author to pick one translation of the bible, and then stick to it throughout the entire book for consistency sake. When one chapter has an NIV version, then the next has NKJV, it feels a little bit like cherry picking the best sounding verse, and translations are more important in meaning rather than just how they sound.
Additionally, this would be an appropriate resource for new believers, teenagers, young adults, and even seasoned Christians who are seeking to refresh their faith and spiritual walk with Christ.
Overall, very impressed, I would buy this in a church gift shop or even as a gift for someone else. Great resource that would be well spent in churches all over the nation.
