Sounds like a book lots of people could benefit from reading! I always like to read about different people's ideas for breaking bad habits. Great job on the review :)

Originally I only intended to read the sample, but I ended up finishing the book. The author's style of writing and personal experiences really intrigued me. I agree that she comes off genuine and relatable which really helps throughout the book.

We always need more books like this. It is a shame that it was short but having read your review, it looks like it was enough.

Another four out of four and a short read! This one sounds very promising!

Thanks for the thoughtful and detailed review. I admit, I was put off by such an obvious nom de plume, but understanding why makes me more open minded. I appreciate that detail in addition to the book overview.

Thanks for the review. It is interesting that you started out thinking you weren't going to like it and ended up giving it 4 stars. It seems a bit short to be a beneficial book for someone looking to break some habits, although I guess that it isn't the length that will determine the helpful, but the willingness of the person who is doing the reading.

Thank you for the great review, an interesting type of self help book on how to quit your bad habits. I think that everyone has at least one of these. I know I do, weight and diabetic control.

Her approach just might be the thing. It's nice when a book is unexpectedly good. Thanks for the great review!

Wow, this sounds like quite the little book. I would have to say I'm skeptical about the whole bending things your way and not getting rid of the bad habits completely, but I'm tempted to try it out. (=
Thanks for the review!

Excellent review. This book sounds impressive and easy to follow, especially for being so short. I look forward to reading this.

Love your review. I have to admit st first glance I almost dismissed this book. I don't really read many self help books because they all seem to say the exact same thing which becomes "blah blah blah" Also they're usually very long and at times rambling. After reading your review I am definitely going to read this short book. I find the authors approach to bending not breaking these habits to be intriguing. Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm going to be completely honest: I expected to dislike this book shorty after I started reading it. The writing didn't really flow and the setup was going nowhere fast,
I am in complete agreement with the reviewer up to this point. However, unlike the reviewer, my expectations were completely fulfilled and I found little that was positive. Determined to say something positive about any effort to publish, I came up with this. The author found a system that worked for the author. For that, the author should be congratulated. The author's effort at sharing insights with the general reading public fell short.

Until I read this review I really had thought this would not be a book I would like. But this review changed my mind.
