Review of In It Together
Everyone's life is full of trouble. Many people struggle to reach a state of inner peace. Is it possible?
I enjoyed reading the book. I liked how the author blends chapters into each other. A preceding chapter is a principle on which the following chapter is built. This gives the book a nice continuity. I also liked how the author presents his opinions. He does so with an astounding level of clarity. He also uses repetition to stress his points. This makes the book easy to read. I also liked how the author of In It Together is impartial and nonjudgmental. He also urges the reader to embrace others without hate. I also like the tone of the author. He uses a conversational tone. This makes the book interesting. One thinks they are in a literal conversation with the author. The author is honest. He presents everything as a truth in which he believes. He coerces no one to embrace his ideas. I liked that about him. The author also includes quotes from other people. For example, the quote from Vincent van Gogh's letter to his brother. These beautify the book.
I found the book a bit challenging to read. Some of the passages require prior knowledge of what the author writes. For example, the author uses some Greek mythologies which I hadn't encountered before. I had to look for them to understand the context in which they were being used. Despite this, I found the book interesting and enlightening. I also found some shockers which are worth looking into for yourself. For example, just imagine a fallacy in the golden rule! That's shocking! And on top of it all, the price tag on Amazon is the lowest it can get! This is great. I find
Considering all of the above, I rate
I recommend
