Healing Your Attachment Wounds by Boadi Moore deeply explores the topics of attachment, trauma, and relationship. The author embarks on a personal odyssey, uncovering the profound influence of childhood and adult trauma on her choices and connections. Through a planned road trip, she endeavours to reconnect with her children, demonstrating a genuine understanding and willingness to engage on their terms. Amidst heartwarming moments with her youngest daughter and grandchildren and a pleasant coffee meeting with her son, challenges arise with her eldest daughter, necessitating the establishment of boundaries and temporary separation. Nevertheless, the author conveys unwavering love and extends an invitation for a future holiday together. While exploring attachment theory, the book sheds light on various attachment styles and their impact on adult relationships. Secure, anxious, avoidant, and disorganised attachment styles are discussed, each influencing behaviour and connections uniquely. The book underscores the significance of childhood social experiences in forming healthy adult relationships, elucidating how attachment coping mechanisms manifest throughout life.

Undoubtedly, Healing Your Attachment Wounds by Boadi Moore is an exquisite masterpiece, delving into the realms of trauma and the intricate nuances of relationships. One major reason I like this book is that it is an invaluable companion, offering profound wisdom that will undoubtedly guide a reader through issues emanating from attachment trauma. The author's authentic and relatable anecdotes captivated me, taking me on a ride of self-discovery and growth. This book not only imparts timeless knowledge but also offers a beacon of hope for those seeking solace and transformation. At every flip of its pages, the book will captivate readers with its evocative language, leaving an indelible imprint on their hearts and minds. Boadi Moore’s vulnerability in writing about the unflattering parts of her life makes anybody with a similar experience connect with this story on a deep level.

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like about this book was that it had to end. I was beyond excited to keep exploring the topic of attachment in its different styles and the profound solutions offered by the author.

Considering how impactful Healing Your Attachment Wounds by Boadi Moore is and the fact that it is exceptionally well edited, it's only appropriate to give it a rating of 5 out of 5 stars. I don't have any dislikes for this book.

I highly recommend this book to readers who have suffered any form of abuse or trauma because it'll help them recover and live fulfilling lives. It'll also instill in them the knowledge of how to handle all forms of relationships and general life experiences in the future.

After reading the review, I was left with one question. What exactly is attachment trauma?
I honestly have no idea what that means and I don't think I'd like to read the book.
