Do dreams really come true? Some people believe in the gift of prophetic dreams, while others dismiss it as a hoax. However, in the chronicle, My Dreams Come True by Ioan Dirina, the author proves that some people do have the gift of dreams.

According to the author, the book is a diary of his personal life with paranormal experiences. A native of Romania, he has been recording his dreams for over 40 years, and these supernatural occurrences continued when he travelled as a refugee to the United States of America. Criticised over the authenticity of his dreams, he asserted that his claims in the book are all valid and not motivated by money.

Reading about these dreams is somewhat eerie and fascinating at the same time. Some of us have probably dreamt about events that have happened to us. I know I have, and this has probably happened, maybe a few times at most in my life to date. However, the author’s prophetic dreams are remarkable because he has consistently dreamed for over 40 years. It is incredible having frequent paranormal dreams and having to relive them over and over. It’s like Dejavu. This made me wonder if it’s not exhausting or even terrifying to have such dreams because he knows they will always come true.

I also like how the dreams are varied. While some are about his personal life, like losing teeth, receiving messages from home or having problems with his car, others are about events happening in the country and even international and current affairs like crimes reported on the news or politics.

There is nothing about the book that I dislike. I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars. It is fascinating, eerie and entertaining all at the same time. It was exceptionally well-edited because I did not spot any errors. I would recommend it to readers who are literary fans of the paranormal genre.
