A thoughtful review. I love to read about someone's struggles and successes and this one sounds like a winner, even if there are some dry areas to plow through.

Very interesting book from the sample and the review. The author does seem a little full of himself, but the story sounds engaging, and I LOVE that there are punk bands involved. Might have to check this one out!

What I find incredible is that Jorge had such a drive and determination starting at only age 7! That is hard to come by anymore for adults let alone a kid. This would be an interesting read , different from my usual genres. I could also use an ounce of his determination!

This book sounds very interesting and inspirational. I’m not typically into autobiographies but I might make an exception with this one. Great review!

I am not really into non-fiction, but your review seem really good for this one. I guess I will read the sample first and then make a decision on it. Thank you for the review

Burn Zones: Playing Life's Bad Hands by Jorge P. Newbery is a very inspirational book. I feel like the book was written particularly for me because every statement in the book just feels like it concerns my life. So this has made much more interested in reading the actual book and I would really love to do that. Hopefully I'm able to get the ebook and read it up so I can take inspiration and motivation from the author's story. Absolutely wonderful review by the way.
