Almost everyone passes or will pass through hurdles in life but the ability to scale through and come out victorious matters a lot. This book explains it all. Congrats on being the book of the day.

This book burn zone is very inspiring. It did stir me with a feeling that I wasted my childhood. The journey of growing his business. From delivering newspaper to a record company makes you feel every start is always little. The author did a great work. I hope it inspires people that no work is small.

I suddenly remember my privilege of not needing to work at a very young age. I can't imagine myself working at the age of 10 like Jorge. I like that the book didn't only focus on his success as a real estate mogul, but also highlighted this story of him helping talents produce their songs.

I enjoyed reading your review. I have never read a sports book but Burn Zone seems to be a book burning with passion and inspiration. I would love to give this book a try.

I definitely get the point about life having a series of burn zones. However, knowing when to quit is a skill greater than knowing when to gamble. So, while the author's story is inspiring, one could try and avoid 'looking' for setbacks.

I found Burn Zones to be a really compelling book. It combines great stories of entrepreneurship, real estate, and bicycle racing with an underlying theme of using grit and determination to overcome obstacles.

Thank you for your post--I love the fact that you waited for several days before writing your review (I do that too sometimes...). I like the part about how inspirational the book was, and your enthusiasm for what an incredible person he is, but I'm hoping to find when I eventually read it that there is more to his life than making money--charitable work, perhaps--given back some of his good fortunes? I guess I'll see.

I am about to start reading and reviewing Burn Zones, and I am beyond excited to start. Your review was very informative and insightful. As someone currently struggling with financial complications, reading a book on economic adversity is refreshing.
