Review of W.A.B.S. Trading the FOREX Fundamentals
Imagine making money just by predicting if a currency will rise or fall. A lot of us have heard about the forex market but don't understand the concept because we think it is complicated. Some even want to invest, but the real question is, “why should you invest in something you don't understand?”
W.A.B.S. Trading the FOREX Fundamentals by Ken Karow will serve as a proper guide in your journey to becoming a better trader. The book talks about the terms you need to know before becoming a trader, the rules involved, the questions to ask before engaging in proper trading, and how to map your plans before trading. The author also went ahead to educate his audience on how to read the candle stick and how to find the retail and wholesale area prices, starting from the left to the right. If you are wondering what more he has to say about the forex market, read on to find out.
The author has provided a free e-book to any reader who is interested in learning how to trade forex. To offer free knowledge is generous. But to offer free knowledge that is actually helpful is a different ball game. To help everyone, Ken broke down the terms and gave a detailed explanation of the words used. I have read a lot of forex books, but I must say that this one is different, as it helped me understand forex a lot better than most other books I have read. I love that he used pictures to explain. He went a step further and included helpful links that readers who want a deeper understanding can follow to find more content, including videos, on forex.
Most forex teachers will only tell you the profit involved but will hardly tell you how difficult it is going to be or how many times you will lose. But Ken was truthful; he talked about the losses but went ahead to encourage traders not to give up. His words were composed, and even if you have not heard about forex, this book will educate you about it.
I read this book online on the site Karow provided, so the links that redirect readers to more video materials worked fine. But the author mentioned that downloading the e-book could cause some links to be broken. There was hardly anything to hate about this book in itself. The author's writing style is straightforward. However, like with many books that use links, readers can get a little distracted and go down the rabbit hole of the internet. Additionally, the e-book site was slow to open and navigate.
Nevertheless, the principles Karow emphasized were worth noting, including the point of investing with money you can afford to lose, instead of putting all your eggs in one basket. I didn't find any errors while reading. I loved how detailed the author was. It is easy to see how passionate he is about imparting knowledge. I will give this book 5 out of 5 stars for the reasons mentioned above. It wasn't only educational; it was a fun read, and it didn't get complicated. I will recommend it to anyone who has zero or little understanding of forex, as well as to those who already trade the forex market but want to widen their knowledge.
