In the little village of Coopersburg, where her father is one of just two doctors in the area, Dr. Barbara Galutia Regis, M.S., PA-C, was raised. Barbara was the fourth generation in a line of doctors, making her a descendant of physicians. She recounts what it was like for her to grow up in a family, at her father's workplace, and in a hospital. Before training to be a doctor and working as a physician assistant (the work they do is clearly explained in this novel), Barbara first pursued a career in music.

The author was diagnosed with skin cancer, specifically amelanotic nodular melanoma, while working on this book. As a patient who is currently receiving treatment, she relates her journey. In addition, Barbara gave her readers financial and health-related advice. She presented them with a variety of health insurance options. She then issued cautions regarding how certain medical professionals exploit their patients. To discover more, follow along in Surviving the Business of Healthcare.

This novel is instructive and informative. That is clearly and simply written. Even though this is a medical book with medical jargon, the author did her best to clarify everything, especially the many illnesses and disorders. Because the author took the time to clarify the things patients should watch out for in medical practitioners, particularly those who might wish to take advantage of them, this book is more for patients than for medical professionals. She also provided locations where her readers could purchase affordable prescriptions without spending a lot of money.

I was able to draw from the author's life the lesson to always take care of our health before it deteriorates. To prevent more problems, we should visit a doctor right away if anything in our bodies feels off. We shouldn't be too preoccupied to look after ourselves. Furthermore, we can see from the author's past that she was a music teacher before becoming a doctor, which demonstrates that there is still time for individuals in their twenties who feel like they have failed. As long as we have a strong support network, we can achieve anything we set our minds to.

Nothing about this book bothers me. Because I found no errors while reading, it is well written and edited. I give this a score of 5 out of 5 stars. It was enjoyable to read.

I will suggest this to anyone dealing with a health problem or to those connected to someone dealing with a health problem.

The human body is like a machine that needs constant servicing. To stay healthy, we should visit a doctor often for a check-up. Great review.

This book was quite interesting. I so much appreciated the work of her father and mother in her hometown. It indicates that compassion is associated with medicine. Great review.

I am left in awe of how some people can be magnanimous with information. However, I am skeptical if some of the things she suggested are applicable outside the USA.

I haven't read this book, but can't wait to read it. There are certain things one needs to know when seeking care in a healthcare facility. Good to know these things are applicable outside the USA. Nice review!

"Surviving the Business of Healthcare" by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is an interesting book by an author who noticed loopholes in the healthcare system and decided to address them through a book.

I agree with the author we should not be too preoccupied to take care of ourselves, many people today find it difficult to visit a hospital even when they are noticing symptoms that their body is not normal.
