Review of Blue Collar Cash
Blue-Collar Cash by Ken Rusk takes you on a down-to-earth journey about blue-collar jobs that are often overlooked. For the last several years, college has been pushed as the only way for students to go after high school, and if you don’t, you won’t amount to anything. Rusk takes us through many real-world jobs that completely refute this and make you question if we are doing the right thing, pushing our young people to go into thousands of dollars of debt or even ourselves. Rusk also shows us many ways to take our goals and money aspirations and turn them into reality.
Rusk shows us a completely new way of thinking in Blue-Collar Cash. This book is fantastic for anyone to read, even if you are many years out of high school or even college. Rusk has such a personable way with words that it makes you feel like he has you by the hand, going through these examples with you to help you achieve your dreams. This book is more about life and getting the most out of it no matter what you do. Rusk presents this in such a positive and aspiring way that it makes this book so easy and enjoyable to read.
If you go into reading this book thinking that it is just going to be someone telling you about blue-collar jobs and nothing else, you will be disappointed because this book is so much more than that. Very few spelling and grammatical errors make this book a fantastic read for someone who hates mistakes in books.
I rate Blue-Collar Cash5 out of 5 stars. This book is so relevant to this time that it is a must-read for students and parents. We need to start showing our students there is another way to be successful in life, and it doesn’t have to include going to college. This book is also great for anyone struggling financially or struggling with a job they aren't happy with. Rusk shows us many financial solutions to get what we want by showing us examples of how to plan for them and tells us we don’t have to be in a job we hate to achieve it.
I would recommend this book to everyone. I don’t think there is a person that would not get anything out of it, including people who are already successful in their careers and personal lives.
