Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss . By the name of the book readers could tell what it is about. It's about the last moments for Bruce, the author’s late husband who was terminally ill and decided for an end-of-life decision. Susan Ducharme Hoben writes about her husband's decision, how it must have been the right one for him. She went on to show how they also decided to make the most of their last moments together.


Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss shows understandably how the departure time of losing a terminally ill loved one can be effectively utilized. The book surveys the emotions, realizations and resignations involve in these moments. Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss is a heartfelt book that seeks to show what it feels like to be aware of loving a loved one before it happens. It uses the author'a own story to show how to practically live through the last moments of a loved one. It shows how to convert such assuredly grim periods into even more memorable times. Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss is a book to read, it wields emotions of grieve, pain, and anxieties into something constructive.

Susan’s Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss is a book about death, with decidedly positive consummation. It is a heart throbbing story, empathetic, passionate and evocative. It discusses the brevity of life with such heartfelt immersion, sincerity and realization. It reads like a really good novel.

I like it that it is detailed, as it provides extra information to essential components and entities in the story. Susan’s narration is keen and captivating. Her style of expression of thoughts and emotions is simplistic, understandable and relatable. The progression is seamless. Susan’ story is expansive and covers lot of life’s themes. The language and tones are likewise expressive. Also, the witty speculations of the afterlife in this book would spike readers curiosity even more. I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars for these many reasons. There is nothing I dislike in the book. It is especially well-edited with a zero error count.

Susan has successfully shown how possible it is to come out strong of a grieving period in life. The book is also ideal for use by therapists, psychologists, health care providers and social workers; especially those caring for the terminally ill or the aggrieved. Dying Well: Our Journey of Love and Loss can also be used by members of help groups of grieving persons.

I would recommend this book to non-fiction and generic book lovers. This book could help loved ones, families, relatives and friends of the soon-to-depart persons. It shows how to maximize the last precious moments, focusing on what to do to cope with the grieve of losing someone soon. Susan’s encouraging examples and strong words can show readers practical ways to handle the fragile moments of losing a loved one.
