Review of Play Golf Better Faster: From Weekend Golfer to Pro Golfer in Two Years
If you are a golf player who is seeking to improve his skills, or if you are just interested in some tips and tricks that can help you use your brain and energy on a whole new level, then Play Golf Better Faster: From Weekend Golfer to Pro Golfer in Two Years by Kalliope Barlis is the right choice for you. The book has three parts. The first part is Using Your Brain, which discusses how smart our brains are and how to approach the exercises in the book. It also gives many ideas on how to improve your game and move on from negative feelings by using your brain and emotions. The second part is Practicing Your Game, which gives some valuable advice on how to practice. The final part is Playing Your Game, in which we put what we've learned in previous chapters into practice.
I liked that the book surprised me. I thought I'd only get some information about golf. Instead, I got information that would help me improve my life in general. This is a book that focuses on the power of the mind and how you can utilize it to achieve what you aim for in life. It even had some advice on how to maintain a healthy body. Everything in this book was unusual. It opens your heart and mind to new horizons. When necessary, illustrations were used in the book to better explain the recommended moves. It also had a lot of exercises that would help you apply what you learned from the book.
I don't hate anything about the book. As someone who knew nothing about golf except that it was a sport for rich people, I finished this book with a better understanding of the game. Of course, there were some detailed instructions that I couldn't follow, but I believe those details would help people who are seeking improvement in their playing more than an outsider.
Because that book gave me what I expected and much more, I gladly rate it five out of five stars. I can't forget to mention that the book was exceptionally well edited. I didn't notice any errors going through its pages.
I recommend this book to people with an open heart and mind who want to learn how to master new skills in life. Golf is the main topic, but even if you don't understand golf, you won't get out of this book empty-handed.
